  • Greg Holmes is a psychologist, writer and cancer survivor who lives in Traverse City. His fascination with radio began in his childhood when he built a transistor radio from a kit. His on-air career began during a Junior Achievement show that he helped produce at WZZM-FM in Grand Rapids approximately 40 years ago. Shortly thereafter, he was selected to be the host of a Saturday night polka show, and ultimately was the DJ for the drive time Top 40 show. In college, he volunteered at WKAR's radio reading program for the visually impaired and read Sports Illustrated each week. He returned to radio in 2010 as a volunteer at WNMC.
